This is my 100th post! Yay for me! In honor of the 100th post, I thought it was time for a change in the layout. Since I stated in the previous post I don't like change, this was obviously very difficult for me! :) (Actually, not really - I was starting to think the old layout looked pretty boring.)
Also, in honor of the 100th post, I'm holding a contest! Jason got an iPod for Christmas. We've had a lot of fun picking out songs for him to download. When he first got it, we would flip through the music channels on the TV and find some great songs that way. It's funny what you remember when you listen to the '80's and '90's channels! So, here's what I would like you to do. What's your must-have iPod song? Leave a comment and let us know! Jason's not picky - he has everything from Bill Cosby stand-up to classic Boyz to Men (that was for me!), James Taylor, the Commodores, Chicago . . . you name it, it's probably there. In return for your response, I'll draw a name from everyone whose left a comment for the chance to win a container of Tastefully Simple Caramel Creme Latte Mix and a single serving of their Chai Tea. For as many times as you leave a comment, I'll enter your name into the drawing! Hope you play along!

what about BIG BOOTY ___!
any Lionel Richie??
How about CREED for those days when you really want to DRIVE FAST -BE ANGRY--and sing made up words like " The verdict is in the Burleys are not in" written by Jason and Jordan when they went on a road trip to get Burley in COLA one weekend!
You'll always find Billy Joel and The Boss (Springsteen) on my iPod. Ballads rule!
Now That We've Found Love by Heavy D and the Boyz is my favorite song of all time and it will definitely put you in the mood to move fast (i.e- a great work out song!) I still remember listening to this song on my walkman cruising down Market Street! (Promise I'm not ghetto, though!)

Andy said, "Anything from the
Prestonwood choir" (Is that a music minister answer or what?)

As Andy says, "Everything is her favorite song" but my one song I couldn't do without is "creed" by Third Day...I love that song! I also love anything Avalon, John Mayer, and Casting Crowns (oooh! They're the best) :o)
I had to do two entries to increase our odds in the pot!!

I have 876 songs on my iPod and you're seriously asking me to choose one?! I'm going to name a few that you might like, based on what WE used to listen to!
1) I'll Be There For You - Rembrandts
2) Lucas with the Lid Off - Lucas
3) White Christmas - Bing Crosby
and some of my oldie personal favorites:
1) Weak - SWV
2) Big Pimpin' - JayZ
AND my new favories:
1) Tell Me Baby - Red Hot Chili Peppers
2) Potential Break-Up Song - Aly and AJ
3) High School Musical 1 and 2 soundtracks
Happy Downloading!
So do We get to make fun of Burley if he puts HS musical 1 & 2 on his IPOD?? Just curious.....:) sorry Lindsey...hahahahaha WHAT NOW BSpears on your IPOD??? SO Burley really is your collection so crazy that you yourself can't share what you have??? Or are you as weird as your "twin" and have the most random songs??? Our last vote before the Chai Drawing is:
The Sesame Street Theme song...we know how you have a small addiciton to good ole SStreet!
Oh yes, BSpears is on the iPod - not really my favorite thing to listen to at the moment though...she's nuts! :) I love iPod mixes...they are SOOO random and you can have the weirdest songs! :) OH, another fun song on my iPod - ACE OF BASE - THE SIGN! haha!
Eye of the Tiger...I know, I know, this family doesn't like that kind of animal. The song just fits perfectly to a little Wii boxing, isn't that right Burley parents? Heather, Radar Love by Golden Earring (sp) will cut down on your drive time to P-town, oh and when you get to P-town you need to change to something like Willie, Walon, and the boys.
